Which charecter do you changed the most through the story?
Maximum Ride is a science fiction story about a grooup of abandoned kids that have been experimened on by scientists and have been given wings. It is a great story filled with suspense, detail, dialouge, and diffrent points of view. Through this story I think that one charecter changed by alot from the beggining till the end of the story. I think that a six- year old girl, Angel changed by alot. Angel was a very fearful and fun-loving girl without demands until she was kidnapped by the erasers and had tests done on. But after her group helped her escape for the school she was a lot diffrent from who she used to be. She became demading and wanted what she wanted. She also gained special abilities like having people give in to her demands and being able to breathe underwater. She became alot braver and self- willed. Angel changed in many ways from the begging of the story till the end of the story. http://www.commonsensemedia.org/book-reviews/maximum-ride-book-1-angel-experiment/user-reviewsSunday, October 16, 2011
A PIECE OF HEAVEN by Sharon Dennis Wyeth
Write about why you think the author wrote the story.
A Piece Of Heaven is a great and a sad but sweet story about a thirteen year old girl and how in the bid bundle of problems she faces, she finds some peace, a place where there is nothing to worry about, and for a matter of seconds she is able to live the way she lived before. I think that the author did a great job writing this story. I think the author wrote this story to inspire those who ever have to go through what the girl in the story, Haley is going through by showing that in any of your difficulties you will always find a way or time to find peace and sooner or later everthying will be alright. Haley's problems were that her dad had dissapered, her brother was arressted, her mom was in the hopistal, and that she did not have alot of money. So Haley worked in a music teacher's yard to help him clean it. Through doing that one or two hours a day and spending time with the music teacher she was able to find peace and forget all her problems for a while. The author is trying to explain that even though how bad things may be you will always find your way through them. She wrote this story to help put an positive impact on those who have to face some of these problems daily.
